HOW LONG IS EACH CLASS?
Typically each class is one hour to get the full benefits of the practice, but if it was ever to be longer or shorted you would be made aware before signing up for the class.
CAN I STILL PRACTICE YOGA IF I'M NOT FLEXIBLE?
ABSOLUTELY! You aren't going to be flexible if you never try. Half the poses I do now were never possible when I first started my practice. Yoga isn't just about being flexible, but becoming more in tune with your body and mind while challenging yourself both on and off your mat.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I EAT BEFORE A YOGA CLASS?
I recommend no earlier than an hour before a class but eating 2-3 hours before is even better so your stomach isn't full. If you must eat something before, I recommend it being a light snack like fruit, a few nuts, protein bar or a small smoothie. You will be twisting, bending forwards and backwards and even may be upside down so the food won't sit very well if you have a large meal.
WHERE DO YOU TEACH YOGA?
Currently I am teaching yoga at The Fit Effect in Paris Ontario on Wednesday at 6pm for Yoga With Cassie which is a series of classes to open different parts of your body and Thursday at 7pm for a Glow & Flow class.
Other than that, I host my own yoga events with local businesses and try to include fun social events after the class. Click here to check out my upcoming events.
DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE YOGA?
I currently don't have the open space to be able to do so but come summer I would love to offer private sessions in the outdoors being surrounded by nature.
If you would like a private session and have space within your home, we could make arrangements and I could travel to you.
WHERE AND WHEN DID YOU DO YOUR YOGA TRAINING?
I chose to do my YTT in Bali, Indonesia in June of 2017, a course hosted by Zuna Yoga. In April of 2018, I completed all assignments and received my certificate to be able to teach yoga.

WHAT STYLE OF YOGA DOES YOGA WITH CASSIE ॐ TEACH?
I currently teach Tantric Hatha Yoga. This style of yoga is a mix of flowing from pose to pose as you follow your breath in combination with some restorative poses to help stretch tight muscles. You will also end the class with shavasana and a short meditation. You should leave feeling calm, relaxed and open-minded.
WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND WE WEAR TO YOUR YOGA CLASS?
I recommend leggings (of course) but you can wear anything that is comfortable to you. There is never any judgement in my classes. If needed you can bring a sweater to wear until you warm up and use it again in shavasana. No running shoes or socks are needed for yoga classes.
DO I HAVE TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?
When coming to the class I reccomend you bring a yoga mat, water bottle and any other items/props you may need for your practice. Some like to use blocks or others may bring a towel/blanket if they have sensitive knees.
I do tend to bring extra yoga mats to events but it's first come first serve.
